SCARECROW FESTIVAL EUREKA 2016!

Registration to have a scarecrow in the October 2016 festival began in May and will continue until September 15.  All late registrations after September 15 will not be listed on the Scarecrow Map.  Registration for a Custom Scarecrow ended on August 15.  See below for information regarding our online registration system .

NEW for 2016:

We have added a new category this year called “Subdivisions”. Now Eureka area subdivisions can get together, create their scarecrow for the entrance to their subdivision, and have a chance to win a prize. Register your subdivision today!

Our BRAND NEW WEBSITE now offers online registration for our businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations and subdivisions. Click on the REGISTRATION TAB and register to participate. Scarecrow numbers are automatically assigned as you register, so early registrations have the lower numbers on their scarecrow voting tags. In addition, each registrant creates their own listing for their business, school, church, civic organization and subdivision—including a picture with your listing if you desire.

Also new this year, everyone can now vote for their favorite scarecrow ONLINE and help that sponsoring business, school, church, civic organization or subdivision win a prize. Each vote costs $1.00 and all money raised goes to local charities. We will announce the charities in June. (Over $1,000 was raised in 2015 for the Food Pantry, the USO and a local high school scholarship! Thank you to all participants!) You can still cast a single vote for $1.00 at several local banks in Eureka, but to vote on line the minimum transaction is 5 votes for $5.00. (These votes can be cast for multiple scarecrows or all for one specific scarecrow.)

GO TO THE REGISTRATION TAB AND REGISTER AS A MEMBER OF SCARECROW FESTIVAL EUREKA. YOU NEED TO REGISTER TO HAVE A SCARECROW IN 2016, TO VOTE, OR BOTH!
